Claim: For my senior project, I'll be shadowing a police officer and make a documentary about the life of a police officer.
Reason: The reason why I want to shadow a police officer is because I want to explore the careers in the criminal law field. I already have a good idea of what is it like being an attorney, but recently the law enforcement has really captured my interest and I would really like to look more into it. Hopefully it can be my future career.
Report Evidence: I want to make a documentary about the life of a police officer and what kind of things they have to go through.
Value: I feel like choosing this as my senior project will help me figure out what I really want to do career wise.

Raul on Mamaz
Claim: For my senior project I will participate in an internship, which will allow me to gain knowledge in the field I am interested in and some experience on what a job feels like. The internship will be taken in a dental office.
Reason: I have interest in dentistry and this will help me decide on how well I like the field and help me determine if it is the right path for me. I also want to know how it feels like to have a part time job and I expect this to educate me. Yeeeee!
Evidence: I will present what I learned and took away from the experience. I will also present evidence of my work hours and may have a video describing a day in the office. Yeayea!
Value: As I stated before I will gain knowledge into the field. I will gain some experience regarding how it feels to have a job in order to let me know what to expect when I'm done with my education and ready to obtain a job. Through this I willl also educate other on both these subjects. Halla.

Bhavesh Maharaj-Learn Guitar and Music Theory
Claim: I will learn the basics on how to play classical acoustic guitar and also will learn the music theory associated with that stage in learning.
Reason: I have always had an interest in music and the guitar is one of the instruments I have always wanted to learn. Now that I have a willing teacher and the time to learn, I finally can reach this goal.
Evidence: As of right now, the only thing that I have done is buy a beginner's guitar and have discussed the project with my mentor. By the end of the year, I want to have learned all of the chords and chord progressions, as well as basic scales and maybe even a couple of songs. I will present this in the M building at the end of the school year.
Value: As a student at MCHS, I do not receive a viable option in learning an instrument unless I work with the college. This project gives me a chance to learn with familiar people and with people that I have worked well with in the past. I will be able to exercise my mind, away from the rigors of schoolwork and just play.

Claim: For senior project I will be making a documentary film on haunted areas in the bay area with the help of other students.
Reason: I really enjoy history and film, so I would like to learn more about my home area, and the history behind the ghost stories, while also filming and editing my experience, because some things just can't be put on paper.
Evidence:I intend to gather video cameras and will get in contact with local areas to get permission to go to the areas, and then I will post them up on a blog or webpage for others to see and keep up with.
Value: This will make me better at movie making and editing, and I will know more about the Bay Area's history and be able to show it to the public in a more creative way.
